How to Play Games That Use Flash

Here are the steps you need to take to make sure you can handle Flash games.

Difficulty Level: medium      Time Required: 60 minutes

Here's How:
  1. Make sure you have the Flash plugin properly downloaded and installed.
  2. After installing, reboot your computer to insure proper operation.
  3. Un-install any plugins that you might have put on earlier that could possibly conflict.
  4. If you removed anything, re-boot again.
  5. Select a game site that you know to contain good Flash games (see below)
  6. Open your browser to Full Screen by clicking the middle box in the upper-right corner of your open browser window.
  7. Close any programs you have open, other than Netscape or Internet Explorer.
  8. Play the game! But if it doesn't work....
  9. Make sure you don't have any boot-up applications running; check by hitting control-alt-del in Windows95, and close anything optional.
  10. Check your taskbar (lower-right corner of desktop) and close anything optional.
Tips:
  1. These steps above will help with either Flash or Shockwave.
  2. If your computer is too old or too slow, these plugins simply may not run, or may cause you to crash often.
